Hi,

Has anyone tried using aftermarket manifold and center piece but with original rear exhaust? Reason for using the rear exhaust is to keep the noise down, will the above be of any beneficial? Also will i need to do a re-map? I'm looking at Supersprint.

i have a straight through centre pipe (£120) from longlife with a standard rear it hasnt made much of a change it picks up a tiny bit quicker. the noise is a tiny bit louder but mine is stripped out of all sound deadening so on a normal car its probably unnoticable but if you are looking at power then a sports cat is probably the way to go looking at around £250-300 for a custom job from longlife thats what i was quoted for a 2.5 v6 one.
