Thanks very much Avocet. My car is a manual so great advice on the aircon parts. These guys seem to have most aircon parts. I don't know whether yours is a manual or auto, but that's the condenser for the manual. If you are going to swap it though, you ought to change the receiver / dryer while you're at it and you mustn't leave the system open to atmosphere for more than a few minutes, so it's best done by an auto air conditioning specialist

Worth searching online for Alfa 166 condenser, though.
Where are the dampers corroded? Is it the shiny piston rods, or the bodies? If it's the bodies, I'd probably ignore it. If it's the piston rods, they will need to be replaced. Bilstein and Koni are good. KYB are also OK.
Post up photos of the radiator mounting bracket, so we can see how far gone it is.
I am not sure how far the radiator mounting bracket is corroded. Nor where corrosion on the dampers is. The car came out of a service today and this was the feedback/no photos. I was in a bit of a hurry so didn't question closely enough but will go back to the garage for more info.
