Afternoon

My new Giulia has diamond cut alloys

I have searched for tests on alloy wheel sealers and brushes and almost every test has different results, so can i grab some pointers as to a good sealer and brush???

Ideally easy to apply, read that AG is not recommended for diamond cut alloys??

Thanks bob

I’d be using at least an Autoglym wheel sealant as the edges on diamond cut alloys between the anthracite and where it’s cut away are vulnerable to cracking then you get the white corrosion and lacquer peel.

Me again:

Simple, inexpensive, needs to be renewed every 6 months:

Needs to be applied carefully (some Youtubing required) but arguably the best you can get:

A lot of diamond cut corrosion starts when tyres are changed and the clear coat is damaged on the edge. Choose your tyre fitter carefully. Maybe consider alloy wheel insurance as eventual corrosion is almost inevitable.

Not sure on brushes as I just use microfibres.
