Hi Guys

I have a PII 2.0 GTV. It has Eibach springs and a little bit too much -ve rear camber for my liking. I have powerflexed the rear and the -ve camber is less than it was. I have checked the rear toe and it is -ve 0.5deg so a bit under spec so that cannot be adding to the problem.

It seems to me that the way to adjust it would be to elongate the holes by a couple of mm on the top balljoint flange to bring the camber back to spec. Then bolt up hard with new bolts. A smaller hole could be drilled in the middle and bolted just to make sure. I cannot see anything wrong with doing this.

Also I would like the 20mm lost in rear ride height back. I am going to look for some sort of disc that I can fit under the spring, almost certainly on the upper mount. It would have to be fixed properly to the cone that locates the spring and the original rubber mount. I did get some standard springs (secondhand) but the Eibachs were longer when I took them off so back on they went.

Any thoughts appreciated.

I had a couple of spacers fitted a year back to get the back up about 15 - 20mm and it has worked really well. Yes they do fit to the upper spring mount, I actually had them out last week dropping in some Powerflex - should have taken a picture!!

My mechanic specialises in classic racing Alfas but I'm not sure where he sourced the spacers - they are much like this though:
