My ABS light does not come on with the ignition, on the Spider. The ABS itself is working, as proved by diag reader through OBD.
Its not a bulb that illuminates, but a LED. Its integrated into the circuit.
Is it usual for a LED to fail? I've never had that on any other car I've owned.
Fuses have all been checked, unless there is one somewhere that I missed..??

Anyone have any ideas?

Cheers..

george what year is your spider? I just found out today the abs on the 155 doesnt have a dashboard display signal, its all mechanical. so if your spider is pre 98ish its probably normal

If you 'test' the ABS on gravel does the LED illuminate during the pulsing of the brake pedal?
Not sure, but I'll "test" that today..:)

I think its all related to the "NCT" that the car had the day I bought it. The guy changed the front hub assembly for the wrong one. So someone must have done something to stop the ABS light from coming on, or it would have failed the NCT. Its a case of finding out what they did. I've already contacted the guy who sold it. He "talked" to the mechanic who changed the hub assembly, but of course he's saying he didn't do anything

I might give Gerry at TI a ring today, and see if he can shed any light (no pun intended) on the situation. :mygrin1:
