Check the large bolted in fuses on the positive terminal as they are the main feed for the ecu..

the abs system has TWO fuses.

depedning on the age the MAIN fuse is around the battery, either 50amp 'bolt' on type as redx described OR if older < 2000 then its a YELLOW 60 amp inside a fuse holder between battery & bulkhead

then INSIDE at the driver knee is another 5 or 10amp.

rem there are TWO fuse boxes at driver knee, the main one has 20 or so fuse, easily accessible + another 12 or so ABOVE that fuse box, PITA to get at.

Hi, on a similar note my 156 jtd has started giving an abs/vdc and occaisionally ebc fault. It comes on during start check but can then dissappear for several miles before reappearing. I have used Unidiag but no braking system fault codes were detected. Slight continuos squealing from rear left break but pads look reasonbly ok. Any ideas?
