My Alfa 166 Super 2.0 Turbo has two dashboards light indicators on all the time. The ABS light and the hand brake light.
The car is running, brakes ok but there is no speedometer.
What could be the issue?
Any ABS probe?
Can I check that with Alfadiag?
Regards,
Joaquim

166 ABS and Handbrake

I have the same problem coming and going every 3 months in my 166 2000T and NOBODY ever found what is wrong with it. Sometimes it goes away on its own, indicating it is a connector problem. Try the ABS connector, and try the footbrake switch on the floor and the handbrake switch.

the car probably uses one of the abs wheel speed sensors for the speedo so it's probably all related....not sure which though :D
I agree with Niall..more than likely an abs sensor out.Or is your fluid level right.Easiest thing to check first.

Pomeo

The speedo is worked via ecu from abs sensors etc.
