Nope optional on both GTAs

Oh. Ripped mine out anyway and there's a first aid box in it's place in the boot - doesn't sound as good!

There's a cable with a din plug just sitting there now.

I'm keen on getting a new headunit tbh but I am more interested in making the car better so I doubt I will ever actually do it.

I've been meaning to take the multichanger out of my 147 for ages. The magazine is stuck in it so I think it needs at least partially disassembling. Do you have to take the carpet out of the boot to get it out?

In mine (156) it was held in place in a vertical position on the far left of the boot. 2 brackets anchored by 4 self tappers, if I remember correctly. I guess if they're dealer fit, other mounting methods may be used?

I think I had to lift the side carpet trim - very minor fiddle.
