hi all! I'm just in the process of buying our first Alfa - me and the mrs are going down to one car, and we were looking at the deals on the market at the moment, my previous car was an Astra, and my fiancee had a Focus so we were originally looking at the deals that Vauxhall had on the Astra with their warranty etc, whilst also considering the new 1 Series but in the end, we decided to go for a Giulietta (the 1.4 Multiair Veloce in Etna Black for anyone interested)
now, given that we're buying an Alfa... I figured I'd have a look around to see what forums there are, and found this place via the wonders of Google! I'm quite excited to be owning my first Alfa to be perfectly honest, really looking forward to getting a brand new car with a nice 61 plate, and it's quite exciting personally to think I'll be an Alfa owner in a few weeks (to the point where right now, I just want time to get a bloody move on!!) :rant::rant::rant::rant:
anyway.... I don't really know how to introduce myself other than say I'm a total newb to the world of Alfa, and after hearing years of sob stories and buyers remorse from people who have had poor experiences, I've heard similar tales of elation at the experiences of people who have enjoyed owning an Alfa.... I just hope that this first foray will be the first of many, but I'm keen to get some further knowledge from more wizened (is that a real word???) owners on what to look forward to, and also what to avoid etc
oh... and if this introduction is a bit crap, sorry.... like I said, I don't know how to introduce myself so please just ask whatever you want, always happy to have a conversation with folk
