Hi everyone, just took delivery of my first Alfa and I have hit a wall, the car developed the flashing odometer so I booked it into my local specialist, Alfatech in Newcastle, they have diagnosed a replacement blue and me unit and i am trying to find a used one to keep the costs down, the part number they have gave me is 555550380701 which I am struggling to find, does anyone have a good supplier or could point me in the right direction please?
many thanks
Andy

I had a problem with B&M after a windscreen fitting; flashing mileage etc. Luckily it cleared after reseating the 5A ‘various devices’ fuse under the steering column. It may have been coincidence, but it’s not been a problem since.

First thing to try is disconnecting the negative terminal from the battery. When I got my 2010 car Blue and Me was proper ****e. However the more I used the phone etc the better it got and it still works today. Disconnect the battery, put it back on and turn the steering wheel from lock to lock, lower the windows and make them go up and hold the switch for about 5 seconds after the window is closed. Go for a drive and hopefully all will be well. Then try to pair a phone again to the car. If the odometer is flashing as others have said a Proxy realignment will be neccesary and if the Blue and Me module has failed it will not register on the Canbus. Do you have any software like MES to try yourself?
