Just thought i'd share my happy tale with you .
I bought my 53 1.9 jtd about 3 1/2 years ago,within 3 months the waterpump siezed and snapped the timing belt,£836 worth of damage but luckily managed to get it repaired at no cost to me(alfa paid half and the garage i got it at paid the other half,there is a post about it on the forum)so i thought about gettint a warranty as that could have been a disaster.
After pricing,around £350 per year i thought no too expensive,a mate at work put me onto the AA BREAKDOWN REPAIR SERVICE as i'm in the AA already it just cost me an extra £65 per year,so i went for it.
About 1 1/2 years ago my battery went,result £90 battery for my £25 excess then coming home from a night shift on monday morning my radiator burst,result towed to garage and new radiator fitted total bill £385 and just paid £25 excess plus no bust knuckles doing it myself.

If your in the AA get joined up thats 4 years worth of cover i've used.
