Since moving down here for the next 8 or so months I'd like to hear my Wizard Unicorse replica in a tunnel properly. Any decent ones near about? Preferably some where I can give it some beans without consequence ;)

Only one I know is the Tyne Tunnel, go late at night and should be ok, and despite the signs there are no speed cameras.

Second that, Tyne tunnel.

I also find the Chester-le-Street bypass quite good, outside lane has a nice concrete wall for exhaust sound to bounce back off.

Tyne tunnel was awesome with my RX-8 and a sports cat-back. Windows down, low gears, big revs and big giggles. Overrun pops sounded like a shotgun :D

Thanks guys I gave the Tyne tunnel a try last night and paid 1.60 each way. I couldn't give it the welly as it wasn't late enough I guess. And at one point I seen flashing lights behind and backed off. I'll try the by pass when I next get a chance.
