My 2.0 Alfetta GTV is fitted with Genuine Alfa 4 stud 6J15 Campanatura 45 wheels.

I know that the speedo reads about 3mph slow at 70mph (the only car that I have ever had with a speedo that reads slow.)

The existing tyres are 195/60/15 Dunlop SP Sport.

I have tried to check correct tyre size but everything I read suggests that the wheels should be 14" with either 185/14 or 185/70/14 tyres.

What wheel / tyre size combination is correct and any pointers to why my speedo reads slow?

Triffclarke: mine is also SORN and has been for 9 years but heading back onto the road. But before it was taken off the road satnv showed speedo was about 3 moh slow at 70. As I seem to live my life with 6 or 9 points on my licence it was something that concerns me. Though now I know that it reads slow I can build that in to my indicated speed.
