I assume longer bolts are required

They make little difference to the look of the car, had normal length bolts on mine, don't know if that's as should be. They are universal so would fit any 5 hole car.

I thought you would of been able to notice a slight difference? Was thinking of getting some.
It's only 5mm, maybe just me, can't tell

These ones were just flat ali plates with machined slots. Seemed to be secured with a goo of some sort, then add wheel and bolt up. Not my thing.

Its good you're not using them anymore as you cant use standard length bolts with 5mm spacers. IIRC with standard length bolts there is about 8mm of bolt into the hub so 5mm spacers would reduce this to about 3mm of bolt thread holding the wheel on
