The car can detect them when they're in the way, and the report says this works well. It's mainly the top of the wings which don't have a lot of absorption in them as they're low.

I would have been very dissapointed if the Giulia scored any less than 5 stars.

Most cars for sale at them moment in Europe score 5

more than anything, it means that whatever was behind the reports from earlier this stating it had 'failed' crash tests, the problems now seem to have been sorted.

Maybe it failed to meet the standards Alfa had set for themselves, rather than failing something like Euro NCAP?

It would be in Alfa's best interests to make it safer than the competion as that is another good selling point.

Giulietta apparently still has the highest score in it's class...
Are we really celebrating how safe an Alfa Romeo is? Buy a bloody Volvo if that's what matters to you.

why should an Alfa driver be less concerned about safety? You can be safe and still have fun. :)
