Lets hope its more to the 35K mark.Nothing on price.. The numbers mentioned ranges from Euro 35K to Euro 60K.. So who knows.
But seems CEO of FIAT is hinting the 4C that will be shown at Frankfurt in September will be close to or the actual production version...
If that is the case Cayman is R603k and the Cayman S R748k - so were looking at close to R600kFrom what I have read (and its quiet a lot) they want to undercut the Porsche Cayman in terms of prices.. So probably Porsche Cayman price range
You must consider that cars o-seas don't come with service or maintenance plans at all, and their warranties are far shorter. Also, their cars are generally of a lower spec level. A huge portion of our prices are due to the import taxes government places on them. Another factor is that our market is small, and it's spread over a large geographic area, so the margins need to compensate for that.Jeepers thats a bit more than I was hoping... If it was closer to the R400 000 mark I would've considered it.
It always amazes me how the UK and US supercar prices are so much lower then "3rd World" South Africa... can't imagine the extra shipping distance and low import numbers equate to such a difference in price.
Perreby, sod off with your 4c posts..... its not good for my budget planning or the future of my marraige !!![]()
