So I took my 159SW for an 8 hour drive from Cardiff to Edinburgh on Friday, all good, no issues. Then I drove it back on Sunday, again all good going, averaged about 22mpg:biglaugh:

Today though at 7am it wouldn't start. It turned over just fine but simply wouldn't fire. Anyway, I called the AA who arrived promptly, put the key in and hey presto. It started first time.
We put the code reader in to find any recorded faults and there are absolutely none!

AA man thinks it could be the crank sensor but said to ask on the forum if this engine needs input from cam sensors to start too.
I don't want to jump the gun but if the cam sensors are not required for the start procedure then the likelihood is that the AA man could be onto something.

Anyone out there know ???
