My 57 plate GT JTDm is coming up to the end of the two year manufacturer warranty.
It is just coming up to 20,000 miles.
Should I have the service done early to get in before the two year warranty runs out or will I be ok waiting until it is in the one year dealer warranty period?

The last service was done when I bought the car last May at about 15,000 miles.

Services are every 12000miles or 12-months, whichever comes first.
So I wouldn't wait until after 2-years for the 24000mile service as it will invalidate your waranty...

But if the first service wasn't done until 15000miles you may not have a valid warranty anyway!!


Unless they have revised service schedules, but I haven't read anything about that.

I bought the car from a main dealer so hopefully that won't be the case.
I don't know how long they had it before I bought it, it will have been at least 6 weeks but may have been longer.

I'll phone them tomorrow to book just in case.
