Hello Alfabods!

Does anyone have a 'How Too' guide to remove the glowplugs form a 20vJTD.

Want to renew them, lifted the bonnet and decided I need to do some research!

Thanks

I'm sure they are in the same place as the 16v 1.9. inbetween the rear cam and the inlet manifold, the electrical wire just pulls off, gently use a screw driver to lift it off and mine were an 11m deep socket, be gentle undoing them, they have been known to snap off.

you got a 2.4 20vJTD?
yes! :)

Is that your actual engine or from a google image search? It's mainly the pipework runs that look different and the power steering reservoir is in a totally different place. And the oil filler

just curious really!

(and yeah thats a spotless one alright!)

Yes - that isnt my 'actual' engine - courtesy of google, but the block is the same so I can find my glow lugs at the weekend...

Good luck with the changing of em - hope its as simple as folk say!
