Hi guys,

I've got a 2007 147 JTDm that I've had for a little over 6 months. The car has always been difficult to start but never had any engine fault lights come on.

Go figure I finally sell the car and the same night I sell it the buyer says the engine light came on. Sure enough it did.

Took ages (I live near Launceston, Tasmania where there is only one Alfa mechanic who apparently might not be able to read the code) to get a code reader working with the car, and it popped up the following error:

P0237 Tubro boost sensor “a” circuit low

The car had originally been regularly serviced but I haven't driven it very much in the last six months.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi everyone and thanks for the input,

I found the problem- EGR was completely filled with gunk. Gave it a good clean with throttle body cleaner and a small brush, reinstalled and problem disappeared! Car now starts beautifully without any hesitation unlike previously.
