Does anybody know were the auto gear box ecu is located? I have found somebody who is breaking one but he doesn't know were its located. Alfa want £1200 for one

It's on the left hand side of the console, behind and down from where the ICS is.
I've just replaced mine and the heater matrix as it was leaking and caused the ECU to fail.
Alfa were going to charge me £1400 . . . there was also one on eBay for £800+. I managed to buy an almost new one from ECUEXPRESS.co.uk for £300 (with 1 year guarantee), and it was delivered from the States within 4 days. That did the trick, and it's easy to fit . . .

I've got a gearbox ECU for a 2.5 available, it'll only work on 2.5's tho.

is the front downpipe on 3.0 and 2.5 the same

yes, but only on another CF3 car like yours, it will not fit a CF2 car.

CF has three cats and the engine ECU mounted on the back of the plenum, CF2 on older cars has one big cat and the ECU under the passenger footwell.
