Hey I'm on replacing the slave and clutch its a 1/8 TS manual.

Do I need to remove the drivers side drive shaft and what else would need to come as it not directly connected to the gearbox like the passenger side.

Do I take the stater motor out too

Thanks

what engine is in your 156? for the diesel engine you can unbolt the starter and just pull it out of the box but don't need to take it off completely. Sam for the drivers side driveshaft, just withdraw it till it clears the box. you can drop the box without taking off the subframe though it makes it a little tricky getting the box back on. You'll probably need to remove the air box and hoses for clearance and access too.

Good luck,
Al :)
