My problem is-
After driving the car from cold for 3-5 mins the rad fans are kicking in.
Both fans work as they should, first just one fan then both.
They do not stay on long ,10-15 seconds then stop, then start then stop ect
I do have a faulty thermostat, temp never gets over 1/4 mark unless its left on idle for quite some time.
Ive owned the car for some time now and have never heard the fans kick in possibly due to the faulty thermostat.
My thinking is the temp sensor has given up or possibly the water pump is failing.
Just strange how my temp gauge never, (even when the fans kick in) , past the 1/4 mark.
Any thoughts or ideas would be most helpful
Cheers
Chris
