I have just driven to my daughters school, at the speed limit of 60, half way along my journey a stupid woman pulls out of a junction without even slowing down, right in front of me. It took her another few seconds to realise i was sitting on the horn and almost in her boot. About 3 minutes later a white van on the opposite road is playing with something in his footwell and starts drifting towards me. Another blast of the horn made him look up and swerve back. I can't help thinking people are out to get me. That woman was the 5th person to pull out right in front of me in a week. I just don't understand why she or the others think they can pull out so close to another car doing 60. . . .

Its even more annoying when they dont acknowledge their muppetry. A simple hand up to say...."yeah..I'm a muppet" would suffice.

It winds me up more when you see them Not looking in the mirror.... sort of... "If I don't look it didn't happen".

There is a bit of road I drive regularly.... and NO ONE looks at the t Junction. I am always hovering over the brake pedal as I approach the side road, and have had to slam it down a few times.

I know what you mean about the if i don't look ht didn't happen part, that's exactly what she was doing. Her male passengers had i look out of the rear window , all i did was shake my head.

I followed a woman in an A3 yesterday weaving all over the road. So badly I thought that she was either drunk or very ill.

When I passed her I looked across. She was texting

Oh nice.

The best one was last week when a bloke in an old escort was behind me, swerving from side to side, yo-yoing behing me,
through glancing looks in the mirror i caught him
1) Shaving,
2)Playing with something on the passenger seat.

I'm pretty sure he was eating with both hands, and reading a paper too.
To be honest I would have believed it if he was lighting a bbq on the passenger seat for breakfast.

I had a bloke in a Punto try to undertake me on a slip road yesterday.

Needless to say he didn't get away with it.

Mr PG has warned all white van drivers in the Dumfries and Galloway and Cumbria areas that this lady does not get out of the way  I do not allow cutting up or pulling out on me.

I have been known to deliberately drive off matching the speed of anyone trying to cut in until they run out of road!

How very dare they

Be warned

You sound like me!

I have been known to sit side by side ( on a very straight road) to a 4X4 that pulled out on me, with the horn on for two minutes.

After experiencing road rage a couple of years ago I've become very non-confrontational on the road.

I pulled in to a lane in front of a Vectra and he took offence. He then followed me with lights full on and horn sounding, so close that he touched my bumper a couple of times!!

This was REALLY scary so I kept driving and ended up in the car park of the police station - at that point he gave up.

Needless to say the police were not interested - even though I got most of his reg number.

I am usually very calm behind the wheel

I just don't like the blatant ignorance of the fact that there are actually other road users who wait in queues as they are supposed to instead of racing up the inside and trying to cut in.

I am actually very polite and do let folk out etc. etc.
