Sounds interesting. The 2-stroke seems to lube up the injectores and the pompa.. so it makes it run quieter.

I don't think 250ml per full tank of diesel could possibly affect the mechanicals. It would be diluted around 250:1. I doubt any diesel donkey can possibly be that sensitive... :)

Interesting that synthetic 2T isn't "as good" as mineral... but on the othe hand, maybe it's not dissolving in the diesel (it's designed for benzina, after all).

I heard that it was a good idea to use 2 stroke oil when running a Diesel on Kerosene, to make up for the lack of upper cylinder lubrication.

Synthetic 2 stroke oils tend not to burn as well as mineral ones. Instead of making pollution in the form of smoke, they get ejected from the exhaust pipe as wet oil.

It cleared my MCSF, took a few tankfuls. My theory is that it helps disolve the carbon build up. Use at least Jaso FC spec. Emits less carbon and has better disolving qualities.
