What about -

Has anyone tried adding a small percentage of two-stroke oil to their fuel? It's a popular "mod" on diesel LandRippers, I've been told. Any constructive observations would be appreciated.

Yep, it helps lubricate the injectors... I pop some cleaner in once every few months then next tank gets some oil... not sure if it helps but won't do any harm

It was smoking a little bit after the millers , but i have to say that millers stuff is fantastic - it smoked loads less with that in. So it made a massive difference.

So i think once ive got the samco hose fitted, K&N filter in, turn my box up to 3/4 ish and continue with the millers - it will be awesome - super fast and im guessing no smoke.

But i will report back on all that early into the week

I taped up the split in the original hose and now have a lovely whistling noise lol

Well the hose is on finally - tbh they aren't a very good fit for the 20v - what someone said earlier in this thread is correct, even with some trimming its not a great fit. It will do the job but its a bit squashy in one place.

Its just not quite the right shape - regardless how you trim it.

K&N filter in as well - god its a ****e job changing the air filter - glad i wont be doing that again

Where was yours from?

Not sure all identical shape, the squishy bit will be fine as soon as boost on it'll be normal shape.

I got a grubby old black one for next to nothing but not sure of make and it fits... was gonna swap for a new red one but not sure now...

Iirc 3 or 4 places do 16v hose but only one or two also state for 20v so not sure if all silicone are identical or not

autolusso used to have listed on ebay and sure they listed both, looking at veloce and alfawokshop hoses looks like could be small differences

Yeah, sure shape is different, bends look different at intercooler, round battery end of it particularly....

Be good to see the different hoses uncut compared to 20v Alfa hose.

Only reason I asked as one of the Alfa specialists used to say it was their own design (as in made just for them with a tweak).

Last option I can see would be Venair.

I dont think they will make them for the 20v - too low volume imho

Somewhere will, we had low volume pipes made for 155 v6 at one point.

It may be we would need a local silicone car pipe specialist and a small group buy to make it affordable for template to be made up...

Will ask a few places.... can't be that low volume if nobody is doing them and you look at whole of Europe for 20v volumes

Alfashop said they have been looking at possibility and following my question were going to push on with seeing what they could do
