hey guys.

had the check engine warning flash up this afternoon, and a slight loss of power. immiediete suspect of egr/dpf as I do a lot of little trips at the moment.

just plugged it into my mates reader and yup...codes P0403 egr and P2002 dpf.

plan to pull the egr off and clean it, however in the mean time...

has anyone had any success with the spray in air line type cleaners and can recommend a good one.

and also

does the 159 2.4 jtdm have a reservoir for that EOLYS fluid or what ever its called that helps keep the dpf clean? if so where is it?

cheers all

No eloys fluid on a 159 . Regen is managed by ecu and fuel, the eloys is seen on other Marques tho eg PSA group cars. Never tried an air line as my dpf is sat in my garage which is the best place for it .

cheers alfiefreak.

guess I just need to strip the egr down and give it a good clean.

soon as funds allow there is a big project in the pipeline, but having just had to fight for the affordability for a new mortgage, things have taken a back seat. other wise I fully agree, best place for a dpf is under the workbench in the garage. lol
