I own an Alfa Romeo 156 2.4 jtd 10 valve on a 2001 the first problem is that it struggles to start hot and cold.
The second problem and the main reason I am making this post is the car gets to about 3000 rpm and it loses all power in any gear and the red engine light comes on the dash like its in a limp mode. The turbo seems to stop working and the car won't go over 60mph and won't go over 3000rpm also there's a lot of black smoke from the exhaust , any advice will be greatly appreciated

ECU is throwing it into limp mode, can be for a lot of different reasons. You will need to get it to someone, a garage, with diagnostic equipment to see what codes are logged.
