The Brera has developed a surging issue over the past two days at motorway speeds, at just over 2000rpm. This happens in around 70-80mph.

There's a noticeable bit of power loss and a constant 'juddering'.

Oddly, this doesn't happen in 1st, 2nd or 3rd gear at normal urban speeds.

No regen light on the dash (no warning lights at all, actually) but the boost gauge winds up and down constantly when this happens.

Any ideas? Anything to look for? EGR? MAF?

I experienced similar symptoms last weekend, surging whilst accelerating around 2000 rpm coupled with a screeching noise. Turned out to be a loose clamp under the car on the pressurised side of the turbo.

Hmm. Might have a look then. It didn't do it today on the way to work. Might check EGR too when I get a weekend.
