Has anyone ever came across a 2.2 Brera using a lot of oil with no visible leaks. The car is a 2006.

Mine's never needed a drop in 5 years.
Have you had a good look for any collecting on the top of the undertray rather than the ground or garage floor?

No, but: smoke out the back on deceleration? Rings gone? Compression test.
Mine chucks out a fair bit of smoke just after a 'spirited' drive when I come to a standstill at traffic lights for instance.
Not sure if it means anything, but it's been happening for ages and has always passed the MOT emissions test.

Check for any leaks, spark plugs (for oil burning signs= carbonization can google for examples of spark plug wear), pcv valve can be clogged with oil gunk or leaking (too much pressure in the crankcase and cylinder head pushing oil everywhere and or excessive oil burn). If it is too much for you go to a garage of your trust and let them do it.
