Hi Guys
Is there anybody who has had a Supercharger fitted onto a 2.2 JTS engine . what problems have they encountered or had ? if any.
I have a Brera 2.2 JTS Prodrive with 42k on the clock, just had a recent timing chain change 2k ago .
I have been told this will add about 60 BHP to currant power (around 185 BHP) I intend on keeping the car as a future classic .so not worried about future resale value.
I,ve already sorted out the Insurance on this Mod, so no surprise there (Adrian Flux) Yes I know some will say Should of Brought a 3.2 V6.
AutoDelta are the Guys that do this, but before I go ahead , I need to think it through,so finding a another 2.2 JTS owner ,with a Blower on would be a good start.:thumbup:

Nah - the 2.2 is 100kg lighter and fuel consumption is better - The charger will make it just better.

A turbo is more work to install, but the end result will be better.

True that turbo choice is a bit of an art. What you said also holds true for most things really. Supercharger choice must also be done carefully.
