Having never stripped down an engine before and probably having misunderstood the method for loosening of big end and main bearing bolts I found one of them to have been very tight and another that felt very unusual as it was loosened - seeming to undo far more threads than any of the other bolts.

This engine has only completed 50K and the engineer who inspected the bearings commented that they were "as new".......

Is there a process to check the 2.0 TS crank for "elongation" and "warping"?:disappointed:
