Hi alfisti.
Recently I've found some oil in the intake of the turbo, so checking I found that our engine has an oil separator, not a PCV valve.
The Oil separator is the 55217821.
And my question is, has It some maintenance because has a membrana or is empty?

That is the PCV valve / oil separator as used on a giulietta diesel as well.

I've not looked at one close up and I've not seen membranes for sale so I've always assumed you need to buy the complete unit. Maybe someone else has been able to open one up. You should be able to clean it out but if the membrane is torn then it won't be working properly possibly causing excess pressure and oil content into the inlet pipe just before the turbo.

How did you change it as it looks like an awful job? The separator pipe to the sump looks to be trapped by starter motor. I've been meaning to change mine for about 2yrs now due to oil consumption, but more recently I've spotted quite a big oil leak from that area.

The oil separator on the diesels return the oil to the crankcase and sits lower down, generally harder to spot leaks.

Or do you mean the oil was blowing through it into the intake.

Waiting to get my GTV MoT’d a diesel late model Range Rover destroyed itself. Noise, lots of noise, lots of smoke, no noise smoke dissipated. Consensus of opinion was oil seals in the turbo had allowed oil into the intake. It may be an idea to see why your engine has such a high oil consumption.
