Back again ...This time my battery is dead ! idont really mind just as long as it is the battery.
Been searching here and i can find info for 2.4 and 1.9 but what is the best battery for the 2.0 ?
Is it the same spec?
Is the correct battery the 096?

A 115 type battery fits the tray perfectly and gives you more capacity and CCA. This is what I have on order https://www.yuasa.co.uk/batteries/automotive-view-all/ybx3053-650.html ....ignore the listed retail price shown...you can get then for under £100. Stock one is a bit small IMO...and looks it where it does not fit the tray!! Whatever you go for use a big brand like Yuasa, Exide etc....they actually test their batteries to the correct standard....rather than just putting a sticker on saying they meet spec!!

I have a 096 battery on a 2.4, i cant go a week without needing to run the car in the colder periods so i would advise the bigger 110 battery.

Don't see it shoukd make any difference...when I was into ICE...before I grew up!.....I had one and sometimes two extra batteries to power the system...all charged from the stock alternator. So just one battery with a bit of extras capacity should not phase it.
