I'm thinking of fitting a 2.0 TS 16V cams from a 156 into my 1.8 TS 16V engine. A friend has changed his cams and wants to get rid of them.
Wonder if there is any real advantage in doing this, or would it make performance worse. Has anybody done this mod before?

in the 8v engines, the cams are the same. Are you sure the 16v cams are different ???

They are the same for the 155 engines but no idea about 156, presume they are. My 1.8 is running with a 2.0 cam :D

As far as I know, all the 1.8 and 2.0 cams for 16v engines are the same. The cam locking tools only use one set for those engines so stick with what you've got. :)
