QUICK HELP! :cheese: My left front brake caliper is holding on!
Jacked the car up and released the bleed nipples and the problem seems to be on the inner side of the caliper

Any suggestion as to the problem? And solutions?

GOT AN ALFA GYMKHANA ON SAT SO NEED URGENT HELP

One of the pistons will probably be seized, and I think you'll probably find the dust boot on the seized piston has perished. You need to replace the piston seals and dust boots. It only takes about an hour to do and you can get a new set of seals off the web for about £20. You'll also need some copper grease and 500ml or so of brake fluid.

What was causing the blockage, and how did it get in there? Hope you don't have any corrosion in the system

I put the fault down to pipe degradation. Cut the pipe open and found the inner wall was starting to deteriorate. No problem for the fluid to go to the calliper, it’s just that the fluid does not return, causing the binding!

BUT ALL’S WELL, HOPING TO SLAY SOME 156’S ON THE TRACK TOMORROW :p
