I am trying to figure out what size battery should be in the 156. I got my car and both the keys were with out a battery.

Red (mine is a 1999 car).

Don't know about the later black key.

Same for black and red - CR2032.

Any manufacturer will do, no need to buy them from Alfa, get them from eBay or any cheap local shop.

yeah that is what I am doing I live in Japan and I found some on Amazon.jp! just waiting for them to come in.
