I dont remember but my rear wiper works only if I hold the wiper button down.
Water sprays at the same time but when I lift my finger off the button it stops, water and all.

Is this normal? I have not driven the car for over a year and I dont remember.

in the sud you press it down and the wiper should work by itself. you press it down further and it will spray until you let go (or the water runs out ) i don't think you should need to keep it pressed down to keep the wipers moving. id try replacing the button. but im only working off what i know about suds

Mine does the same. As soon as you release your finger from the button it all stops. Hope this helps.

I have read somewhere in here for a patent with a switch from a golf (or vw model) which vould replace the one we have so with one press constant movement and with a second one it would stop.

So its ok.

I have giving the sprint a lot of hours just to make it look better.
Lots of rust and painting needing.

I have another sprint exacty the same year and color. The motor looks ok but the is a rust in the water.
A lot of rust.

The body however is much better than the one I drive.

Any way a motor will be needed or at least fixed and maybe one day I will fix the other one
