I am trying to diagnose a blower motor not that does not run. Anyone know what fuse controls the Blower motor? Thanks in advance!

Think its the third from the right, its on the same circuit as the indicators, glovebox light and cigar lighter so easy to tell

Edit: I thought it was fuse #3
but fuse #8 I just learned (so yes, 3rd from right as said above:))

if the fuse is good, then remove the yelow and yellow/black wire from the blower motor and apply 12V to one of the terminals and then to the other....that will test if the blower fan works on both speeds.

If it works, then you need to check the switch (...was the switch replaced recently?...)
If it doesn't work, stick a pencil (or your fingers) into the blower and try turning it....it should turn freely....if not the motor has seized.

does your fan warning light ('heating') on the speedo come on when you flick the toggle switch?

here you see the wires on the fan:

Well after turning the fan by hand for days I finally got the motor to take off. Thanks for all the assistance. This forum rocks!
