Presumably, the BE2586 was a variant fitted to Japanese and/or very late 166s (you say in your other post it's a 2006). In Europe, it was the BE2569 in the original version which was later switched to the BE2580. The intelligence here in the forum is that only the code for the 2569 can be read from non-AR sources - see the lengthy thread in the 'sticky' section above. In all likelihood, you'll have to approach a dealer...
