Hi

The fuel filler flap release button on my 166 has decided to play silly bugger. The last few times I went to fill up it had to be “wiggled” a bit to release the flap and yesterday, outright refused to comply, so I had to tug the string in the boot.

Has anyone fixed/tweaked the switch on theirs? I know the central locking and filler flap release switches are on a single block which should be easy enough to release from the gear surround.

Any insights or advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

V.

If it's the console switch I would do a straight swap TBH.
You know there's an emergency string pull in the boot?
On the right as you open the boot
