Hi all,

A guest here from the GTV side of the site. Im about to fit some 166 Brembo callipers to my car.

Can someone please advise of the bolt size?

Ive read they are M14, but ive yet to find what pitch they are? Ive also seen someone mention they are tapered?

Thanks

Alex

As in the original Alfa e-learn CD is no mention than "Bolt M14" it should be a standard metric iso bolt which means the Pitch should be 2mm.

Tightening torque is - if I'm right - about 120 Nm. I can confirm later after starting my e-learn CD (works only on the windows-partition...)...

Hi, thanks for the reply.

I managed to get it sorted. M14, but a tighter pitch than 2mm I think (not sure what though).

Collected the bolts from the dealer this week, and 120Nm is indeed about right for the torque.

@euroboy: E-Learn gives me a recommended tightening torque of 152 to 168 Nm (15.2 to 16.8 daNm) for the M14 bolts holding the Brembo front calipers.

So I suggest 120 Nm would be a little low...
