Hi

Couple (or more) of questions to ask here. I'm about to get a cambelt change done on my car. My understanding is that this requires the engine to be dropped out. If that is true, then I thought I may make the most of it. The garages here in Auckland have quoted me approximately $3500 to do the job:wow:. So.... 1) Is there anything else I should think about getting done at the same time (to make the most of the labour charges, and 2) Can anyone recommend a good garage in Auckland?

Here's hopeful!
I'm just getting ready to order a new timing belt, tensioner, idllers and water pump (metal impeller) and the price seems to be around the £300 mark (from Alfa Workshop and EB Spares). Anyone know of getting this stuff any cheaper from elsewhere? Also, am I right in thinking that you do have to change the two idlers at the same time as no one really mentions these in the previous posts (if I don't I can save 80 quid!)?

Cheers
