Hi!

What are the differences betwean V6 12V and 24V engine block?
Do they share same crank, what about barrels, pistons? Bore/stroke same?

Have 24V engine that needs rebulding, and have an oportunity to get 12V engine almost free so need to know if crank, barrels, pistons...will fit 24V block?

and check part numbers, using search option on particular number will produce a list of all alfas that used this particular piece, so u'll be able to check what u need. Out of curiosity I checked the crank and it seems to be interchangeable.

btw,you might need to change interface language under configuraion, if you haven't used eper.

I'd be really surprised if the pistons will fit.

Not sure it's economic to do this swap although I haven't looked into it. Just the price of a gasket set is enough to make me think a replacement 24V would be much the easier as well as cheaper.

I've got one (attached to a car) in good shape. Spent loads on it but a house move at some time in the future means that I think I'm going to have to sell it.
