Hi chaps I need a new power steering pump for my 159 3.2. The guys at alfaworkshop, where I usually get parts, don't have/can't get one, and the only other place I can find one is Italia Ricambi, but they would have to order it and it would arrive too late for me to pick it up at my hotel in Paris on my way to Peru (complicated work/living locations means getting parts to Tunisia is a nightmare).

anyone got any ideas for parts specialists in europe who might have this part? (part number is 50503488).

I don't know who makes the original part but I have found this online, which claims to be compatible, but I really don't like ordering from non-specialists....

Got the torch out and managed to make out "ZF Lenksysteme" on the existing pump. A quick google reveals that the OEM part is actually also one of the alternative options.

so looks like instead of struggling to find the Alfa "OEM" part no. 50 503 488 I can get the same part by getting a ZF 8001663 part!

Good glad to help! I was quoted something like 450 euros for the OEM part, whereas the exact same part without the alfa box is about 220 quid!
