anyone know how to remove the rear lens on the alfa 159 bootlid. Thats the one that incorporates the reversing light in it as its the left hand side on my uk car?

If you mean the whole light unit, you just just need to undo the three nuts that hold it in. This is very easy to do if you first remove the boot lid liner by levering out the plastic clips with a large flat implement (screwdriver or you can get the correct tool). I got all the clips out and back in again without any breakages. The light unit itself is sealed and can't be taken apart. NP - you probably don't need to remove the whole liner just to get to the 3 nuts.
