Hi

I have a 2008 159 and recently I have noticed a dreadful noise when opening and closing the doors.

It sounds as if it is coming form the door struts (the bits that stop the door from opening too far)

I have tried some WD40 but the horrible noise is still there.

Can anyone recommend a way to fix the awful noise? or do I need to shell out and buy new ones.. ?

Needs grease. WD40 is too light.

not sure what kind of noise mean here.
The only nasty one I know is created by worn plastic cups as attached.
They are to be replaced. No particular pn for them. They are to be handmade of aluminium or similar metal.
Alternatively complete stopper to be replaced.
