Afternnon all,

Need some new wiper blades on the front, looking at Bosch twin jobbies on ebay and the set for the 159 is £10 cheaper than the Brera set. Surely they are the same size/fitment?

Any advice chaps

Not sure, but I think the roof is lower on a Brera (hence me struggling to fit ). This might imply that the windscreen is more steeply raked, hence longer blades?

Get the Bosch specific fit ones from Wiperblades.co.uk for £28.00, fit in 2 seconds, and curved to suit the screen.

Audi A3/Golf Mk V(?) also fit.


Valeo do a specific 159/Brera model.

I've had a pretty good success with these, at £9.00 a pair and 15 minutes labour:

Thanks for Checking SR, I ordered the Brera specific Bosch Aeros in the end from wipers.co.uk for £32.

Thoroughly tested driving home this morning and performed perfectly.

Are these identical to the original ones as far as the fittings are concerned? I have seen some aftermarket ones with quite bulky fitting adaptors.

Can't say I noticed a big difference, they just went straight on out of the box. I have noticed that I know have BOSCHE written on the wipers which can be clearly seen from inside the cabin.

My rain sensor started to work perfectly after fitting the Aeros.

Rain sensors are very sensitive to how well the screen is cleared. Any smearing by the blades & they go nuts.
