Guys

Can anyone tell me how many there are ( I assume 2) and has any had them off? how big a job was it? Looking at getting someone to make some custom Manifolds so could do with a bit of information to get started.... Anyone got pictures?

There is one manifold that links both banks.It is held on by a number of 13mm bolts and a few 10mm bolts that secure the wiring loom.It will only take 15-20 minutes to remove.

Thank you for that. So if it is that easy to get to then in theory it shouldn't be too hard to get a good exhaust/manifold fabrication company to make one without CAT's in it?

I have a couple of companies that are convinced that they are up for the job however, neither of them had worked on the engine so their concerns where about how long it would take to get the access for removal/new fit....

I think you're referring to the inlet manifold there, Subsonic is asking about the exhaust manifolds..

hi sorry i thought you ment inlet manifold.To remove the exhaust manifolds the engine would have to be removed

Looks like naff all access to the rear bank so looking at dropping the motor being the only option?
