Hello to All,

Does anyone know, is it possible to fit alloy wheels from Alfa 166 to Alfa 159?
I simply can not find any details about 159 wheels dimensions (holes distance, ET, etc..)

Thx in advance!

I don't think so, I think the 166 Alloys were an odd fitment or something, because although the 156'S, 147's and GTV's all took the same fitment, (as well as some earlier alfa's) the 166's were a bit different, unless the 166 was the first of the new wave of fitments, in which case it is possible that they may fit.

Anybody else know the definite answer???

I think the 166 used a 5x108 PCD and the 159 uses a 5x110. Some people fit the 156 (5x98) with 5x100 wheels from aftermarket sources with wobble bolts, maybe you could do this with the 159 and the 166 wheels, but some people (myself included) aren't so keen on the idea of wobble bolts.

However you'd have to make sure the offset was right too, and that the wheels cleared the suspension at full lock and the brake calipers. And this is also assuming the centre hole on the wheel (the load bearing part) is the same size, I have no idea if it is or not..

I'd suggest a test fit before you buy them, just to be on the safe side.

People have put 159/Brera wheels onto a 166.
But using 166 wheels on a 159/Brera I think you have the issue of the centre-bore being too small on the 166 wheels, which would mean machining the bore to suit a 159 which may or may not be possible or safe.

I think the Alfa 159 dimensions are:

PCD 5x110
Centre bore 67mm
Offset 41mm

The original 17" wheels off my Alfa 159 Q4 were stamped 7.5J x 17 H2-41mm
